I loved having my senses awakened to the colors and textures of Italy — every day I felt as if I were in a movie. Selva is a magical place, stimulating yet relaxing, nurturing and peaceful — words do not do it justice. The tour was an absolutely terrific week that we will remember and cherish for a long time to come.
The Abbondanza Toscana experience was pure fantasy. To wake up every morning to the sun rising over those beautiful Tuscan hills. It was a perfect arena for learning, sketching and painting. My memories of Tuscany will remain with me for a long time, and my stay at Abbondanza was one of the highlights of my trip. Your kindness and attention to detail was much appreciated. It was a happy time — copious amounts of food and wine and much laughter. It's hard to hold on to stress at Selva.
A truly magical week in so many ways. We made new friends as well as treasured the old ones who journeyed with us. Thank you for the memories, the hospitality and the charm. We will never forget our week with Abbondanza Toscana. Cent' anni! It was a fabulous experience in a beautiful setting. Everything from learning to cook local Italian foods to tasting wines in a cave under the city of Lucca came together to make this a trip we will remember for the rest of our lives! We will recommend this trip to all our food-loving friends.
Our week was one of the most pleasurable travel experiences I have ever had. What great opportunities to see, taste and relish . . . experiences we would never have had travelling in Italy on our own.
